The 5.7L V8 Hemi has long been a Preferred Engine Choice for many Ram Pickup buyers. Following the 2024 Model Year, this Beloved Power Plant went into "Sabbatical Mode" while the Ram Brand focused on introducing the 6 cylinder, 3.0L Twin Turbo Hurricane Engine to its line up.
For 2026, Ram 1500 brings back the 5.7L HEMI V8 engine, producing 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque.... and that irrestable exhaust rumble! It features a 0–60 mph time of approximately 6 seconds, a 10-speed automatic transmission, and is exclusively available with a crew cab and 5'7" bed
The return of the Hemi adds to Ram customers engine choices. Joining its Ram Engine Stablemates, the 3.0L 6 Cylinder Hurricane and the 3.6L V6 Pentastar, this trio of Power Plants provides Ram customers with the perfect balance of performance choice.
